Aboutp began in Porto with Irene’s love of colour, pattern and Portuguese textiles.
What started as an exploration of patchwork grew into a collection of bags, backpacks and pouches that brings a contemporary eye to familiar fabrics.

At the heart of our designs is Chita de Alcobaça, whose expressive patterns are part of Portugal’s textile heritage. We combine these fabrics with practical shapes and carefully considered details, creating pieces that feel equally at home on a city street, a weekend away or your everyday journey.

Designed and made in Portugal in small batches, our pieces celebrate the pleasure of choosing something with personality. A favourite pattern, an unexpected colour, a bag that feels like you.
